Integration of CPQ and product configurator

For more efficient processes

Effortless integration of CREALIS® CPQ in your IT infrastructure, resulting in a consistently highly flexible system landscape

CREALIS® CPQ reveals its full potential in your company by integrating in your existing IT system landscape. The open system architecture means that CREALIS® is compatible with any system, whether Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, SAP or other systems. This means you can harmonise business processes, speed up approval processes, reduce maintenance effort and avoid redundancy.

CREALIS® CPQ becomes part of the system landscape and optimises the workflow

CREALIS® CPQ has standardised interfaces and can be used as a central link to existing ERP, CRM, PIM and CAD systems within your process landscape. Link CREALIS® CPQ with master data from ERP and PIM systems, thus avoiding the need for manual data updates. As well as master data, properties and prices from the ERP software, images, marketing texts, technical specifications and other documents can also be transferred to the configurator.

Data from the CPQ application can be transferred to associated systems. For example, order-related data can be transferred to the ERP system. Follow-up processes, such as order creation or the creation of bills of materials are initiated directly. The entire process workflow is optimised by integrating CREALIS® CPQ.

Adelbert Haas GmbH

ORISA took on the task of establishing the necessary bidirectional interfaces between ERP system TimeLine, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and CAD system SolidWorks® and the CREALIS® product configurator. The configurator is always called from the CRM system. If a configuration concludes with the creation of an associated bill of materials, this is used for pricing purposes and to determine the delivery time from the relevant planned times in the ERP system. Finally, the CRM system delivers a binding offer to which specific data sheets, technical drawings, manuals and overviews relating to accessories can be attached.

CREALIS® CPQ links to parallel systems for even greater efficiency

Use proven techniques, external functions and existing logic systems in your CPQ solution. It is possible to communicate with other systems fully automatically with the CREALIS® CPQ software and the results can continue to be used directly within the configuration. The configuration and quotation process is even more efficient, as it is no longer necessary to make a manual switch to external systems. CREALIS® CPQ opens up a wide range of options, from the incorporation of a simple Excel datasheet to complex inquiries involving multiple web services or microservices.

Viessmann

The choice of a suitable burner can be added, depending on whether the industrial boiler to be configured is oil- or gas-fired. As Viessmann does not produce burners itself, these are bought in. These burners are fully integrated in the configuration process. The resulting parameters for choosing a suitable burner, e.g. volume, are sent to the supplier via the web service. Thus, during configuration, an inquiry is compiled and sent to the burner suppliers that reports their configuration results — as determined with their own configuration systems — in real time. The user can then decide on one of the alternatives offered to him. This burner is clearly identifiable via an inquiry number and is automatically displayed in the offer.

CREALIS® CPQ as a black box – for even greater individuality

Perhaps you have already decided on an individually tailored front end according to your corporate design based on CREALIS® CPQ and now want to offer your customers your own individual solutions beyond the existing customisation options? CREALIS® can be available as a black box via web services in the background. This functionality is used, among other things, to check the validity of existing offers from a CRM running in the background.
