ORISA’s soft­ware pro­ducts and solu­ti­ons are suc­cessful­ly used by renow­ned com­pa­nies world­wi­de. In addi­ti­on to the intro­duc­tion of con­fi­gu­ra­ti­on solu­ti­ons, ORISA offers tech­no­lo­gy-inde­pen­dent con­sul­ting on pro­duct struc­tu­ring, pro­duct modu­la­ri­sa­ti­on, vari­ant manage­ment, pro­cess inte­gra­ti­on and data­ba­se solu­ti­ons. ORISA’s cus­to­mers include, among others, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Por­sche AG, MAN Truck & Bus AG, Sie­mens Schweiz AG, Viess­mann Cli­ma­te Solu­ti­ons SE and Carl Zeiss AG.

The foun­ders of ORISA are from ZEISS and IBM. One of the first major orders for ORISA was a know­ledge-based solu­ti­on for work plan gene­ra­ti­on for ZEISS, which is still the heart of optics pro­duc­tion today. From this and simi­lar pro­jects, such as the train con­fi­gu­ra­tor for Sie­mens, the know­ledge for the deve­lo­p­ment of powerful con­fi­gu­ra­ti­on solu­ti­ons up to the stan­dard pro­duct CREALIS® was for­med. CREALIS® ser­ves as a mul­ti­func­tion­al CPQ plat­form for con­fi­gu­ra­tors in medi­cal tech­no­lo­gy, indus­tri­al metro­lo­gy, vehic­le and equip­ment con­s­truc­tion, machi­ne tool con­s­truc­tion, buil­ding ser­vices and other bran­ches of mecha­ni­cal engi­nee­ring.

ORISA’s more than 60 employees work at the Jena office in the green heart of Ger­ma­ny. With more than 140 IT com­pa­nies, the loca­ti­on is cha­rac­te­ri­sed by a wide ran­ge of coope­ra­ti­on. The Fried­rich Schil­ler Uni­ver­si­ty and the Ernst Abbe Uni­ver­si­ty of Appli­ed Sci­en­ces offer a wide ran­ge of edu­ca­ti­on and many oppor­tu­ni­ties for coope­ra­ti­on with sci­ence and rese­arch. ORISA’s teams use sta­te-of-the-art soft­ware tech­no­lo­gies that are cha­rac­te­ri­sed by secu­ri­ty, intui­ti­ve usa­bi­li­ty and high per­for­mance.
