When our boss unpacks the colorful jugg­ling balls and clubs, you know it’s that time again — March is Health Month. As part of this cam­paign, we at ORISA have orga­ni­zed a varie­ty of work­shops and offers to pro­mo­te the well-being of our employees and have fun at the same time!

From mindful medi­ta­ti­on and infor­ma­ti­ve ergo­no­mics trai­ning to acti­ve exer­cise ses­si­ons, many exci­ting work­shops and coa­ching ses­si­ons were offe­red to help our employees opti­mi­se their dai­ly work rou­ti­ne in a health-pro­mo­ting way.

  • Medi­ta­ti­on — ide­al for redu­cing stress, impro­ving con­cen­tra­ti­on and pro­mo­ting men­tal health and inner peace

  • Jugg­ling work­shop — trai­ning per­cep­ti­on, impro­ving hand-eye coor­di­na­ti­on, acti­ve move­ment, impro­ving blood cir­cu­la­ti­on and thus oxy­gen sup­p­ly, redu­cing stress hor­mo­nes

  • Life Kine­tics — incre­asing atten­ti­on, con­cen­tra­ti­on and coor­di­na­ti­on by com­bi­ning per­cep­tu­al tasks with cogni­ti­ve chal­lenges and unu­su­al move­ment

  • Ike­ba­na (Japa­ne­se flower arran­ging art) — crea­ti­ve design and crea­ti­on pro­mo­tes mindful­ness, leads to grea­ter sere­ni­ty, balan­ce and resi­li­ence

  • Ergo­no­mics coa­ching — holi­stic impro­ve­ment of back health through a healt­hy VDU work­sta­tion and the cor­rect use of breaks, rai­sing awa­re­ness of pro­blems, streng­thening per­so­nal respon­si­bi­li­ty and incre­asing con­fi­dence in one’s own effec­ti­ve­ness

Health Month was an oppor­tu­ni­ty for our team to take time to reflect on our stra­te­gies to main­tain and pro­mo­te our own health, deve­lop new habits and learn about resour­ces to help us feel bet­ter and fit­ter both phy­si­cal­ly and men­tal­ly. We firm­ly belie­ve that a healt­hy work­force is the back­bone of a suc­cessful orga­ni­sa­ti­on and we are proud to sup­port our team on this jour­ney. Rai­sing awa­re­ness of pro­blems, streng­thening per­so­nal respon­si­bi­li­ty and incre­asing con­vic­tion in one’s own effec­ti­ve­ness — the­se mea­su­res lead to increased job satis­fac­tion and a holi­stic impro­ve­ment in one’s own well-being in the long term!
