Our intern Tom talks about his experiences at ORISA.

In the course of my personnel psychology internship at Orisa Software GmbH, I had the opportunity to gain insights into various aspects of occupational health management. I worked alongside Ms. Rehe as she handled day-to-day tasks and organized and planned health-promoting measures. I particularly benefited from the experience I gained related to the design of health campaigns and researching labour law regulations, as these expanded the wealth of knowledge I had acquired during my studies through a reference to practical applications and their influence on work organization.

During my internship, I had the freedom to choose my own topics of interest. I was also given the opportunity to work from home and organize my own working hours. This allowed me to maintain a good work-life balance while working and studying at the same time. This value of work-life balance is also emphasized and actively practiced by my colleagues and the company’s management.

Besides the experience I gained, I will always remember the pleasant working atmosphere and the collegial cooperation. Right from the job interview, I had the feeling of a familial atmosphere and when I started work, everyone treated me as an equal member of the team. In general, the corporate culture at ORISA is incredibly positive, everyone helps each other out and there is enthusiastic participation in all health campaigns and team activities.

All in all, I enjoyed my five months at Orisa and I can only recommend an internship here to anyone interested in software development.

Thank you Tom for your support. It was great to have you with us and we are very pleased that you were able to gain so many new experiences.
