Sunparadise AG is a leading international company for patio roofs, conservatories and balcony glazing. Sunparadise plans, produces and markets these individual aluminium/glass systems for specialist trade partners, metalworkers and installation companies. A total of 35 product systems are offered in a worldwide dealer network with 1500 specialist dealers. Sunparadise relies on CREALIS® CPQ with 3D visualisation to improve the quotation process and make it more effective. Access to the CPQ solution takes place via the CREALIS® dashboard. This has been adapted to the requirements of Sunparadise AG and provides an overview of all projects and tracking data. When a new project is started, the dealer data is automatically transferred from the ERP system and the product to be configured can be accessed directly via the product catalogue. The product configurator is adapted to the company’s CD, is very simple, straightforward and convenient to use on a PC, tablet, phone or directly on-site at the end customer. The 3D visualisation including dimensions is produced in real time in parallel to the configuration, and provides a realistic presentation of the product, which is always accompanied by valid price information. All products that are configured can be placed in the shopping basket and the quotation is generated at the touch of a button once the project has been composed. The models required for configuration are maintained in the CREALIS® PDM. Thanks to the straightforward user interface and training at the start of the project, the employees at Sunparadise AG took over independent maintenance of the product configurator. The CPQ solution has been available to dealers and the sales team since the end of 2020.
